About Directors Institute

Directors Institute was established in 2009 with the ambition to accommodate the increasing demand for a dynamic forum, with a focus on the daily challenges that executives and board members face within their companies.



Directors Institute is a part of IS, who also facilitates the exclusive executive network Directors Club and offers a number of executive education programs, taught by leading international professors.

This exclusive forum consists of senior executives from more than 1,000 companies and organizations. As a member of Directors Institute, you will gain access to inspiring reports and tools, which can help strengthen your leadership skills and assist you in your current executive or board position.

Members of Directors Institute are primarily senior executives, non-executive directors, and CEOs who report directly to the company's Board of Directors.

As a member of Directors Institute, you will have access to the two annual Copenhagen Summits. At these summits we gather some of the world's leading executives, chairmen, politicians, and professors to address the most current issues concerning international business affairs, corporate governance, politics, and board work.

Additionally, members of Directors Institute will have access to two Executive Updates per year, primarily delivered by international professors from top European and American universities. Our Executive Updates focus on the latest research in a number of fields essential to executive management such as; strategy, leadership, innovation, board work, business development, marketing, etc.

With a membership to Directors Institute you will have access to our Reports & Tools site, which contains a number of articles, guides, and summaries which could be of great value to your work both in the executive office and in the board room.

IS has created a forum especially for members of Directors Institute on Linkedin. This provides you with a unique opportunity to post questions and discuss issues with your peers, read posts from other executives and board members, and identify interesting sparring partners with whom you can share knowledge confidentially outside the online forum.

Members of Directors Institute will also have preferred priority when applying for a membership of Directors Club; the Directors Club membership includes participation in network meetings and the exclusive global summits that take place in Copenhagen, Denmark. Members of Directors Institute also have access to prioritized admission to our executive education programs, taught by world class professors.
